Muddy Water Tours is a great way to enjoy Macon's beautiful Ocmulgee River. The trip begins at the Spring Street boat landing, where you will jump on the MWT shuttle van for a short trip up river. Our canoes are put in 3 miles up stream, launching from New Town Macon's newest park area. From there, you can enjoy a leisurely drift down the Ocmulgee, through wooded areas along the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail. Quiet paddling will allow you to enjoy the river and all the wildlife it has to offer.
